HAIL THE LADY OF THE LAW

 PRELUDE-

My blog has nothing to with Congress, BJP or any other political party's ideology or has no connection with any religious outfit or mindset. Any resemblance is a mere coincidence.

    " ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY"

In past few years we have been witnessing an unusual usage of religious identities while performing of heinous crimes. You can see it in Udaipur's Kanhaiyalal murder case or Atiq ahmed's killing. Shouting "Allah hu Akbar" or "Jai Shri Ram" after committing crime in public seems like a cover up for the crime. The criminal gets a religious identity & this creates a herd of people supporting him/her blindly. This false glorification of crimes is creating an irreparable rift in the society which will take eons to pacify.

Power and Rights always go along. They should both be used in a sync only. Recently criminals in some states have been punished by razing off their properties and homes by bulldozers. Last day two hard core criminals Atiq and Ashraf were shot dead by some miscreants while they were in police custody and were being taken for medical check up. These broad day killings and razing off of properties, without proper trials under our able judicial system, are being celebrated within sections of society and the governments doing this are being hailed too.But the question arises that is the government putting up a right precedent by directly razing off the properties in haste without going on with proper judicial process? Will the killing of prisoners while in police custody wont' affect people's belief in the law of the land?

If the criminals are properly trialed, may be in fast track courts for heinous crimes, and then be given the harshest of the punishment as per law,  would set a better precedent for the society rather then going for the on the spot judgement model. One day it would make all of us into cannibals if we follow the majority hand of law. It will collapse the belief in judiciary among people. People at the apex positions and Governments should think about it. Our judicial system is very robust. From the time of Lord Shri Ram to Raja HarishChandra to Samrat Ashok our judicial system has been very efficient and effective and people believe in it. The founding fathers of our Constitution framed the best of laws by considering and adapting the best laws from across the world. Many laws have been upgraded by the continuing governments and some even have been declared null and void, which is a sign of a healthy judicial system.

For a nation with a glorious past and a promising future these type of actions will only decay the society.Today we are on the verge of creating a history in all fields of life with the help of our rich demographic dividend. If we start following the law of the gun then all the work done since our independence will  just burn down to ashes. I urge all our leaders irrespective of their political affiliation to come forward and lead the society towards a greater tomorrow.I also urge the people to work more colletively and collaborate to shape our society for a better future. We have to understand our rights and use our power for the betterment of our lives.

“CORONA AND WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA”

As we along with whole world are fighting Corona, I would like to appreciate the efforts made by our esteemed Government in tackling this global pandemic. We have implemented our lockdown far better than whole of the world. But this lockdown will also cost our economy heavily. We are almost destined towards a zero percent or may be a negative growth. Almost all indicators are hinting towards a recession like never before. This is an extraordinary situation and as u know extraordinary situations require extraordinary efforts too. After a long time India has a stable Government at centre with absolute majority. We can and we should chalk out a plan, whose time is now, to develop ourselves like China, but with a holistic and humane approach. Like a concerned ordinary citizen I also have penned some positive suggestion-

1.       Removal of regional disparities of development:
What is costing most in this fight against corona is regional disparity in development. Government should focus on removal of regional disparities of development. As we see that some parts of country are much more developed than the rest. It dampens our fight at time of pandemic as we saw this time. It also leads to population concentration at some points which in turn leads to lower per capita availability of resources at densely populated areas. While less developed areas are devoid of resources and infrastructure, the developed ones face the pressure of extreme dense population. This also led to the migrant crisis at the time of pandemic. So, we should focus on the development of Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. As land and human resource will be cheap in these areas ,  new investments by the private companies should be promoted there only by the government. Government is eyeing on all companies who want to shift their production facilities from China, It is an golden opportunity for this purpose.

2.       Focus on our demographic asset:
As per PFCE data of Govt. Of India, we are basically a consumption economy. Around 60% of our GDP comes from PFCE(Private Final Consumption Expenditure) , which means our 1.3 Billion population is a prized asset to us for fighting this recession. We need to boost the bottom of our chain which will directly move the wheel of economy. We need to increase the liquidity from the bottom till the top route. Most of the expenses in infrastructure should be done in the most backward areas. We can select the 100 most backward districts of India to start with and then on.
3

.       Self Reliance:
Government should focus hugely on making India self reliant. It should demoralize unnecessary imports by applying anti dumping duties. It is the best time to re-invent MAKE IN INDIA, the brainchild program of our honorable PM Mr. Narendra Modi. We should find local substitute for our imports and if not substitute then make them locally only. The slogan should now be expanded to “MAKE IN INDIA, MAKE FOR INDIA”.  Our exports have been stagnant at 300 billion Dollars from past 4 years. We should chalk out a plan to enhance them.It is the time to “Go Global Act Local” . It is the time India should sign RCEP and go for ASEANIZATION.
4

.       Agrarian Reforms:
The biggest unorganized sector awaits the biggest of all reforms and now is the time. The biggest problem our children face today is of malnutrition or under-nutrition and one of the reason is staple crop fundamentalism. It is the time to remove the staple crop fundamentalism taboo, which in turn will provide for better nutrition for all. Government should introduce MSP for non staple crops. Government should introduce e-procurement of all grains. Efforts should made to minimize the chain from famer to end user by removing middle man.Loan waiver is not the solution of farmers problem nor is fertilizer subsidy. Major problem is the middle man taking out the major gap between end user and farmer. It should be breached as early as possible. APMCs should be strengthened.
5

.       Real Estate Reforms:
Government should introduce an “Extra Long Term Capital gain” for a period more than 10 years and make it free. This in turn will help realtors to sell our their old inventory at lesser rates because of less tax and will increase the trading in real estate of pre 2008 properties which deemed to be on hold because of LTCG. Also government should remove GST discrepancies attached with real estate.

Every crisis brings along with it a lot of opportunities too. Now is the best time to introduce second generation reforms and strengthen our supply chain management.
Last but not the least these reforms should be done with honest and firm intentions. Aptly “EK PATHAR TOH TABIYAT SE UCHALO YAARO”

Can INVINCIBLES be defeated or is it OVER?

Today when i am writing this post results of parliamentary election 2019 are almost out. Yet again the ruling BJP led NDA is ready to take on the baton with humongous numbers. Modi-Shah duos larger than life charisma engulfed everything that came in their way. Opposition failed to put any fight worth talking of. I would also like to congratulate BJP and the master duo for this charismatic performance. but at this juncture of time the thing which ponders me again and again is WHAT NEXT?

Is this the worst for opposition or something more in the fray? Is there any chance for revival of opposition? If yes, how? How BJP managed this miraculous feat? I would try to answer a bit of these in todays blog.
BJP from 2014 has been successful in incubating a feel of pride among its members which they can also boast of.Its members' ready to die for spirit is taking BJP to heights. Even SC, ST and minorities which other parties thought of their ancestral property have took a shift. They feel like moving to mainstream in supporting BJP. Other parties like INC, SP , BSP etc. had leaders only but now guide or mentors. It costed them hard. They were unable to gauge the ground realities and suffered heavily. Other parties parties could not realise the basic ground issues pertaining to each area, which BJP excelled in.

Congress since its inception has broken into several small regional parties but still survived. some of the major parties born out of Congress which are still performing are Utkal Congress now BJD, NCP, TMC,YSRCP, Kerala Congress, PDA, NPF etc.Congress out of its arrogance, i guess never thought of uniting again and result is in front of us. Congress should have incubated a leadership pattern and Margdarshak programme like BJP did. It would have made transition of powers easy and also could have eased out ego problems amongst seniors. It still has time and should do this else only for revival would be dissolution only.Congress should focus more on grass root workers more than hollow leaders, else the idea of India and secularism which it carries inside would be wiped off with Congress only.

Last but not the least Hope always wins and Trust democracy!

P.S. - I am little biased towards Congress.

ZINDAGI SILSILA ! AJ KAL KI NAHI!

Today I am starting to write once again after some 5 years. I have been thinking about it since long but Atalji's loss  compelled me to pen down something. I deeply mourn the passing away of our beloved poetic Ex-PM Bharat Ratna Shri Atal bihari Vajpayee. The best part of Atalji's larger than life figure was his poetry. He expressed a lot more through his poems than his words. Today as I join billions of people around world to mourn him there are some things, which I feel, are the best takeaways or learning's for a democratic regime from Mr ABV.
" A Government which is strong enough to give its citizens everything, is also strong enough to take their everything."

Vajpayeeji strongly and staunchly favored and protected the right to disagree or dissent, which nowadays is diminishing. Disagreements and dissents and then positive discussions make a democracy healthy and flourishing. He regularly used to take suggestions from his opponents while in power or opposition. This quality made him a true leader among and across party lines. Vajpayees' mode of working was based on mutual respect and co-ordination among all ranks. He could take suggestions from Sonia Gandhi as well as Pranab da. He never hesitated to admit his shortcomings. Twice after his governments fall he rose like phoenix. His poetry continued to give him the support he needed whenever he failed.
Vajpayee always followed VASHUDEV KUTUMBKAM. He never relied on hardcore extremism even being from that ideology school. He believed favoring a particular religion or sect or class would just make him go through one particular election but in the long run it would put him nowhere. History is always cruel to the one who plays with it. He also asked Modi post 2002 to follow his RAJDHARMA. He also objected the Babri Incident in Ayodhya.
The way Atalji managed India's foreign policy post Pokhran Nuclear Tests is a benchmark. The presence of almost all the neighbors today significantly showed that. By sticking to NON -ALIGNED agenda he made our foreign policy more robust and dynamic.India really shined under his regime.
The work done by ABV government in infrastructure field were among the highest since independence. ABV's idea of Golden Quadrilateral project and River Linking project made great impact to India's economy. His vision was exemplary. The idea Of GST first came under him only.Even today River Linking Project is under process but it would be of immense help to country.
Vajpayee never used army or its activities for political mileage, even when he had Kargil war and and Pokhran Tests under his tenure. He totally dedicated it to Army and its valor. He tried for peace talks between India and Pakistan. He also started a bus service between the nations. He also organised Agra summit but somehow it failed. But he tried!

You may find lot of qualities of ABV contradicting with today's Government but these were the virtues which made him lovable and respected across all parties and ranks.
" Governments may come, Governments may go but the Nation should always be there ! "
Last but not the least the real tribute to ABV would be only by not playing politics with his demise.

Elections and Problems

After some 3 years i am back to writing and really feeling good.Almost everything has changed now.I am into business, little bit more concerned but really ignored this very good habit of writing. But i am back now with a whole new series of Kabhi Socha hai?
I hail from Rajasthan so the main issue concerning me right now is of forthcoming elections in five states.Nominations filed, poll dates fixed..everything is set now. The whole govt. machinery is diverted towards conducting the holy work of democracy. Both the major partiesand some newbies are pumped up with adrenaline for the majority fight. The main issue is whether ethics are being followed or just sidelined for the sake of winning.Let's discuss it step by step:
1: Candidate finalization: Whether it be Congress,BJP or the newbie AAP all the parties have just selected only those candidates who can win seat for them without giving even a single thought about their criminal background, whether they deserve candidature or not.Only those with strong bank balance and strong caste presence have been preferred. In some cases even candidates who were against the parties previously have also  been selected. How is this justified? How will the deserving person will ever get a chance for candidature?
2: Election Funding: With stringent EC norms it is becoming difficult for all parties to maintain the guidelines set. Everybody knows that its all about heavy pomp and show by candidates in elections.Huge amount of black money transactions happen and many freebies are offered to people for votes.Mainly the one who distributes more freebies or money has higher winning chances(in many cases). The main Question here is to apply a check on all this.Election commission are you prepared or again the deserving ones will lose because of this..
3:Ugly Caste Politics and Goon-ism: In many places across India, caste is still the major fact being considered before voting. This can't be done through government but through a self change in people only. But Unfortunately from years, this has not happened. And the ones with higher number of caste people, even after less being less deserved wins. Also in many places goons are the one who decide for winning candidate. This
is very shameful or the holy purpose of democracy will not be served.
4:Lesser Voting output: Nowadays the voting output is lesser in cities than in villages. Even the educated ones don't go to vote just because they are busy in some work. Will this attitude help? No,not at all.Only we are at loss by not voting. This is really wrong.By not voting we are somehow spoiling our own future,
I would like to end uo now with a ending not to urge all of you to PLEASE VOTE...to preserve Democracy.JAI HIND,JAI BHARAT

The GIRL Power

This blog is about some critical incidents which happened with me and inspired me to admire and desire,"Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo(I want to be a girl in my next birth)"
                                                              Act 1:
I was standing in a kilometer long queue for ticket cancellation at Pune railway station with my friend,Richa. The train for which I was cancelling the tickets was about to depart in half an hour. I tried to persuade people standing ahead of me to let me cancel my tickets first, as my train was about to leave. But, with no effect. They just ignored me like a beggar. I was hopeless in getting my ticket cancelled for another three hours. Richa  continously yelled and disturbed me for not being able to get the tickets cancelled. Surely it was because of her feminine traits. She like, Queen Elizabeth wants everything right when she demands. Sudddenly a brilliant idea struck me. I asked her to try if she could get the tickets cancelled. Actually it was out of frustration and even an experiment. She took the tickets from my hands like an eagle. She went to an uncle aged boy to ask if she could get her tickets cancelled befor him as she was she had to catch a flight. Like all testesterone charged men, he obliged her and allowed her a place ahead  of him to get her tickets cancelled. I was totally amazed. The impact of the shock was like a full-fledged punch on my nose. I slipped into the great depression immediately.
                                                                 Act 2:
Since we missed the train to Ahmedabad from Pune, we had to come to Ahmedabd via Mumbai in a Volvo. If we were some 2 minutes late, we would have missed the volvo also and a complaint would have been lodged in the police station by Richa's parents against me for kidnapping her. But I guarantee, if somebody ever tries to kidnap her, he would repent it for his entire life. Somehow we boarded the bus for our destination i.e. Ahmedabad. The bus seemed to be maintained properly. We got the second last row.But the real nightmare was about to start. We felt like we were in Antarctica. The A/C temperature was strategically adjusted to -5 degrees (somehow they managed it). It was chilling. That night i realized the value of our blazers which we were required to carry as we had gone for a B-plan competition in Pune. All the passengers in the bus were definately jealous of the extra-advantage we had over the freezing temp. I even came up with a great biz-plan that if we sold our blazers to our jealous-shivering co-passengers, we would have managed to earn atleast Rs.10000/blazer. Anyway the scenario was pitiful as everyone in the bus tried to persuade the bus conductor to increase the temperature, but he was adamant. I was showered with caustic comments by Richa. So I challenged her to go and get it changed herself. She went and pleaded the conductor once and as usual he obliged. I felt very bad for being  born as a boy for the first time in my life.I felt like demanding the government to introduce special rights for the increasing population of under-priviledged boys.
After that I witnessed many partial and unjust  situations like standing in a queue for movie-tickets, making presentations in class and all these incidents just  assured me of one thing "GIRL POWER".  The "WOMEN"S RESERVATION BILL" has just elevated the power to these NINJAS. Women have a lot of potential in them. They should just learn how, when and upon whom to use it. Kabhi Socha Hai???
